0-G LAUNCH AND GLOBAL AVIATION VENTURES PARTNER TO PROVIDE SPACEJET FLEET

0-G Launch and Global Aviation Ventures have signed an agreement to develop zero-gravity flight aircraft and air-launch services for the space and defense industries. Washington DC-based 0-G is a provider of SpaceJetTM airborne platforms that utilize commercial aircraft that have been specially modified to serve microgravity and rocket air-launch capabilities. Together with Global Aviation Ventures, 0-G will procure, license, and operate a fleet of zero-gravity aircraft with plans for six SpaceJetTM aircraft to be strategically placed around the globe.

The two companies will work together to provide microgravity services for consumer zero-gravity flights, astronaut training, and payload testing. The modified aircraft will be outfitted with equipment beneath the fuselage allowing for horizontal air-launch of customer payloads up to 40,000-feet. 0-G Launch boasts a motto of “bringing earth closer to space” and intends to become the first operator to dually provide high-precision microgravity and cost-effective horizontal air-launch with the same aircraft.
