CIRRUS AIRCRAFT INCREASES PRESENCE IN ARIZONA
Cirrus Aircraft has expanded its footprint in Arizona with new locations in Scottsdale and Chandler. Operations at the company’s new Cirrus Flight Training Facility at KSDL are expected to begin in October of this year while the Cirrus Aircraft Innovation Center in Chandler is already open and helping to support the Cirrus product development team. The Arizona locations were selected by Cirrus after a nationwide search due to direct regional access to talent and customers.
The Scottsdale facility will offer Cirrus Aircraft customers full-service aircraft management along with highly personalized flight training. The innovation center in Chandler will provide avionics, electrical, and software engineering services with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for November. Cirrus Aircraft was founded in 1984 and designed the first FAA-certified whole-airframe parachute safety system included as standard equipment on an aircraft. As of next month, the company will have six locations in the U.S. including the two new facilities in Arizona along with operations in Texas, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Tennessee.
