CUTTER EXPANDS FBO NETWORK INTO TEXAS

Cutter Aviation, the oldest continually family-owned and operated FBO network in the country and well-known for its aviation sales and services, has acquired AeroJet FBO at Georgetown Municipal Airport (GTU) in Georgetown, Texas. The acquisition is Cutter’s fifth FBO location, marking its first in the state and one of two full-service FBOs at GTU. Will D. Cutter will manage the base and territory, representing the fourth generation of family ownership.

The facility includes 74,000 sq ft of hangar space that can accommodate up to a Gulfstream G450. The 14,000 sq ft terminal building offers a pilot lounge with a snooze room, flight planning area, conference rooms, crew car, and concierge service. The new location joins the four Cutter bases at ABQ (Albuquerque, New Mexico), COS (Colorado Springs, Colorado), and DVT and PHX (Deer Valley and Sky Harbor, respectively, Phoenix, Arizona). KGTU is about thirty miles north of Austin and is a strategic fuel stop for cross-country flights.
