JETBLUE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR GATEWAYS PROGRAM

NY – JetBlue has announced that the airline is now accepting applications for its Pilot Gateways Programs. The Gateways offer seven education and training paths for pilots and aircraft maintenance technicians. According to JetBlue, 12 percent of last year’s new-hire pilots came through one of the JetBlue Gateways programs.

The Gateways programs allow external candidates with the option to select between two pilot development paths including Gateway Select and Gateway University in order to reach a first officer position with JetBlue. Internal talent members within the airline also have access to Gateway Direct and Gateway Flex to work toward becoming a pilot or maintenance technician. Gateway Family is a new offering this year that allows the immediate family of JetBlue crewmembers access to a defined education, training, and time-building bath toward a first officer position. The Gateways Programs are in the 14th year of offering by JetBlue as part of the airline’s training and talent pipeline.
