KMKE EARNS AIRPORT SERVICE QUALITY AWARD

WI – The Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (KMKE) has received its first Airports Council International (ACI) World 2021 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award. MKE earned the award for providing an outstanding customer experience to passengers in 2021 with quality, commitment, and consistency. MKE received the award for Best Airport by Size and Region.

MKE competed in the five to 15 million annual passengers division in North America and was one of only eight airports in the nation to receive a 2021 ASQ Best Airport award. The ASQ program measures passenger satisfaction across 34 key performance indicators and the Best Airport award is granted to airports that receive the highest scores on passenger surveys. Key performance indicators include security, airport facilities, ease of check-in, and other passenger experience indicators. ACI delivers 640,000 surveys globally on an annual basis. MKE is entirely funded by user fees and does not utilize property tax dollars for capital improvements or day-to-day operations.
