Jet Linx Expands to Serve Florida Market
FL – Jet Linx recently opened its first South Florida base location at Jet Linx Miami at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport (OPF). The OPF location marks the company’s 21st base location. Jet Linx also acquired Southern Jet at Boca Raton Airport (BCT) for its second Florida base location.
According to Jet Linx, demand in the Florida market is strong and the company expects to serve local aircraft owners and jet card members along with Jet Linx customers in the Northeast. The company’s acquisition of Southern Jet is the fifth acquisition for Jet Linx since 2015. The company previously acquired Meridian Aircraft’s Management & Charter business, ProJet Aviation, Flight Concepts, and Elliott Aviation’s Management & Charter business. Jet Linx Miami officially opened at the beginning of this month and the private terminal offers 3,200-square-feet of space. Since last year, Jet Linx has opened a private terminal in San Antonio, broken ground on Jet Linx Omaha, and completed renovations at Jet Linx Dallas. The company was the first operator to receive ARGUS’s new Platinum Elite safety ranking last year.
