New Corporate Hangars at DVT
AZ – The groundbreaking for new corporate hangars at the Deer Valley Airport (DVT) is scheduled for this month. A ceremony will be held by Cutter Aviation, Phoenix Councilwoman Ann O’Brien, and Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema. The creation of corporate hangars at DVT is the first major private investment into the airport in two decades.
Cutter Aviation will begin Phase 1 of the new hangar construction and expects completion by Super Bowl 2023. Cutter Aviation serves as the only FBO at DVT. The company has invested millions into DVT with plans for continued investment into the future. DVT features two runways, which makes it one of only a few municipal airports nationwide with this feature. DVT was the fifth-busiest airport for takeoffs and landings before the onset of the pandemic. There is currently a five-year waiting list for hangar space at DVT and an estimated 75 corporate jets are seeking relocation to DVT.
