Business Aviation on the Rise in California
CA – California has been experiencing a rise in business aviation. ACI Jet, a Southern California business aviation solutions provider, is reporting a significant positive swing in recent years. Charter broker Air Charter Service (ACS) is also seeing an increase in the private charter business, and they are expanding operations in California after a record year.
ACI Jet has added new FBOs (fixed-based operators) and hangars at John Wayne Airport (SNA) and San Luis Obispo Regional Airport (SLO). They are seeing significant growth in demand at their FBOs and through their maintenance services which is in line with the growth of the business aviation industry.
ACI Jet is also a Bombardier Authorized Service facility and is seeing a huge increase in demand in providing support for these aircraft.
ACS has experienced a huge bounce back in their business within the past year as they are seeing the return of the entertainment industry and business travelers flying again. Their jet card product has skyrocketed in sales up by 127% YOY. Due to the growth ACS has experienced, they are looking to recruit additional aviation professionals.
With scheduled services not expected to fully return to pre-pandemic levels for several years, private aviation will continue to be in high demand for the foreseeable future.
