Fargo Jet Center Expanding
ND – The Fargo Jet Center (FJC) at Hector International Airport (FAR) in Fargo, North Dakota, is growing its operation with the construction of a new 112,000 SF hangar and office facility. FJC is an FAA-approved Part 145 repair station and MRO provider. The $22 million expansion is in response to the need for growth in aircraft maintenance, avionics, and special mission modifications. The project includes a 27,000 SF maintenance hangar and a 23,000 SF hangar dedicated to unique mission mods. There will also be a host of support offices for maintenance and avionics, technical workspaces, and shop areas for composite and sheet metal fabrication and paint services. The hangars will feature 30-foot-high doors that can accommodate the largest business aircraft in service today, complementing FJC’s FBO services by freeing up existing hangar space for additional tenants and transient aircraft in the high-demand Fargo region. The new facility will also house FJC’s growing aerospace engineering department, flight school, and sister company, Weather Modification International. The project is managed by Olaf Anderson Construction of Fargo and is expected to be completed in Fall 2023.
In addition to FBO and MRO operations, Fargo Jet Center and its subsidiary Premier Jet Center at Flying Cloud Airport (FCM) in Minneapolis, Minnesota, also offer aircraft sales, charter, and management services, as well as flight training.
