Galaxy FBO at Addison Airport is Open for Operations
Galaxy FBO recently welcomed the opening of its newest location in Texas at Addison Airport (ADS) in Dallas, joining FBO bases at Houston William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) and Conroe/North Houston Regional (CXO). The company also operates the private-use-only Black Forest Heliport in The Woodlands about 30 miles north of Houston with prior permission required before landing.
The Addison base is a purpose-built facility with a 13,000 SF FBO terminal, two identical 39,000 SF hangars, and an additional 31,000 SF hangar. The campus is at the south end of the airport near the arrival end of runway 33. All three hangars, available for lease, have 28-foot-high doors and can accommodate the largest business jets up to the Gulfstream G650 and Bombardier Global 7500. The terminal offers a passenger lounge, crew lounge with flight planning, snooze room, and showers, two conference rooms, a covered vehicle parking garage, crew cars, and onsite car rental. The hangars have many office spaces for lease to aviation businesses and the largest contiguous ramp space on the field at 7 acres. The facility will initially be open from 6 am to 10 pm with callouts available but will switch to 24-hour operations beginning next month.
