NYC: Heliports are vitally important to New York City. They help connect businesses and professionals to the other areas of New York and the surrounding cities and states. For this reason, NYC has three public-use heliports. The first heliport is located at West 30th Street in Manhattan. The second heliport is at East 34th Street, and the third is at Pier 6 in lower Manhattan. Of course, it’s no mystery why the public-use heliports are in Manhattan.
