Atlantic Aviation Acquires Textar
TX – Atlantic Aviation acquired Textar Aviation at the Dallas Love Airport (DAL). Atlantic Aviation has been looking to operate at the Dallas Love Field Airport for some time now since DAL is one of the country’s top three busiest business aviation airports. This acquisition is a big move for Atlantic Aviation as it has expanded its footprint to 75% of the top 20 business aviation airports in the U.S.
Atlantic is looking forward to constructing a top-tier facility soon and has already initiated and completed early renovations of the existing facility. The completions include its rebranding of the current lobby, hangars, and fuel farm. Plans are also in place to develop a new FBO terminal and more hangars and office space to expand its operations at the airport.
Atlantic’s footprint at the Love Field airport includes roughly 51 acres of ramp space, vehicle parking, and fuel farms, in addition to the 697,000 SF of hangar and office space and 8 acres of undeveloped land likely to be used for additional hangar space to base aircraft. This investment is Atlantic’s largest single FBO purchase in the last decade and is one of the many acquisitions Atlantic has made over recent years. Atlantic Aviation, now owned by KKR, also merged with Ross Aviation this past year. These developments give the company a widespread presence amongst many of the top business aviation operators in the country.
