Gulfstream Broadening its Operation in Appleton
WI – Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is responding to customer demand by continuing to expand operations across the company, and recently announced a $55 million investment in its completions facility at Appleton International Airport (ATW). The company is building a 73,000 SF paint hangar that will enable Gulfstream to carry out the entire start-to-finish completion process at ATW and is expected to commence operations in late 2023. In addition to the new completions hangar, the facility will include a new wood finishing area, new offices to accommodate customers and pilots, and upgrades to its receiving and shipping area. The company will hire for more than 200 new positions across a wide variety of skills including engineers, avionics technicians, mechanics, and skilled trade and craftspeople. A job fair was held in early June to begin the hiring process.
The facility at Appleton represents a continuation of Gulfstream’s expansion across the company including new facilities built at Fort Worth Alliance Airport (AFW) in Fort Worth, Texas, and at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (IWA) in Mesa, Arizona. The company is also upgrading its customer support call center in Farnborough, England.
