KMSP AIRPORT EMPLOYEES SERVE AS VOICES BEHIND PUBLIC ADDRESS ANNOUNCEMENTS

MN – The Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) has selected airport employees to be featured as voices heard overhead by passengers in MSP’s terminals. The “Voices of MSP” program holds an open casting call for employees with winners selected by a local judging committee based on sample recordings. Ten employees have been selected for the 2022-2023 program to serve as the voices behind the airport’s public address announcements.

Five companies and organizations at MSP were represented with this year’s “Voices of MSP” program with winners from Delta, SkyWest, Marsden, Airport Foundation MSP, and the MAC. Their voices will be featured in the airport’s terminal lobbies and concourses, automated exits, trams, baggage carousels, moving walkways, and other airport areas. From pilots to arts program coordinators, MSP found voice talent amongst its employees. The Metropolitan Airports Commission owns MSP along with six general aviation airports and provided an on-site studio for employees to record their announcements.
