MID-CONTINENT TO BUILD HANGAR AND ADD JOBS IN WICHITA
Mid-Continent Aviation Services (MCAS) announced at the National Business Aviation Association’s Business Aviation Conference & Expo (NBAA_BACE) in October that they will be growing their operation at Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower Airport (ICT) by building a new hangar and adding 23 positions to their workforce which will then number more than 40.
The planned 31,500 sq ft hangar will replace an existing 15,000 sq ft hangar and will include state-of-the-art infrastructure and accommodations for future work plans. MCAS provides a full-service MRO operation focusing on aircraft maintenance services in support of business jets, primarily the Hawker 4000, Hawker 800 series, and Beechcraft Premier models. They also service turboprops, piston aircraft, and rotorcraft and specialize in locating and stocking hard-to-find legacy aircraft parts inventory.
