|
Signature Flight Support has responded to the COVID-19 pandemic by reaffirming its ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest safety, health and wellness standards in the FBO industry by launching SignatureAssure. This comprehensive response to the pandemic includes social distancing, employee readiness, facility cleanliness and aircraft safety standards.
The launch coincides with a gradual increase in aircraft operations throughout the world and includes the deployment of several technological advancements, including electrostatic sprayers, pulse oximeters, and touchless thermometers.
The program features a comprehensive 50-point cleaning checklist to be completed multiple times throughout the day. Electrostatic sprayers are used to quickly and efficiently sanitize high-traffic areas such as lobbies, lounges, and vehicles.
Terminals now display clearly visible signage and floor markings as social distancing cues to encourage 6 feet of separation. In addition, items such as literature and linens are no longer present, and frequent disinfecting of high-touch areas is performed.
Where possible, furniture and tables have been moved to provide ample separation. Pre-packaged food is being provided with single-use cups, plates, and cutlery.
Team members are required to wear masks at all times while fulfilling their duties, and are subject to health screening prior to beginning their shift. Health screening is facilitated by the use of touchless thermometers and pulse oximeters.
Passengers and crew are requested to wear facemasks while transiting through the FBO, with masks available at all locations.
