CA - Los Angeles transportation officials expect drone-like electric air taxis to be operational in time for the 2028 Summer Olympics or sooner. Several companies are scouting out parking lots and high-rise buildings to develop vertiports, allowing for the new technology of air taxis and air mobility to come to fruition.

Business Aviation on the Rise in California
CA – California has been experiencing a rise in business aviation. ACI Jet, a Southern California business aviation solutions provider, is reporting a significant positive swing in recent years. Charter broker Air Charter Service (ACS) is also seeing an increase in the private charter business, and they are expanding operations in California after a record year.

Davenport Municipal Airport Upgrades Prompt Additional Development within City
WA – The City of Davenport recently completed a nearly $6 million reconstruction project at the Davenport Municipal Airport to meet the growing air traffic at the facility. From the start of the project, the airport has almost tripled its number of hangars to 16 from six, with three more planned.
