Revv Aviation Continues Expanding FBO Services in the Midwest

SD – Huron Regional Airport (HON) in Huron, South Dakota, in July became the seventh FBO base and tenth operating facility for Revv Aviation, a rapidly-growing provider of FBO and other general aviation services throughout the Midwest and formerly known as Carver Aero. The other FBOs are at Aurora Municipal (ARR) and Schaumburg Regional (06C) in Illinois, Muscatine Municipal (MUT), Davenport Municipal (DVN), and Council Bluffs Municipal (CBF) in Iowa, and Southern Wisconsin Regional (JVL) in Janesville, Wisconsin. Revv operates flight schools at Sioux City Gateway Airport (SUX) in Iowa and Eppley Airfield (OMA) in Omaha, Nebraska.

At nearly the same time, the company also announced the opening of a maintenance facility, flight school, and charter service at the Quad Cities International Airport (MLI) in Moline, Illinois.

Guy Lieser, CEO of Revv, says he sees great value in coming to Huron, citing the 7,000×100 foot primary and 5,000×75 foot crosswind runways as capable of handling any size aircraft. He plans to bring all of Revv’s services to the new location: charter, flight school, maintenance, and avionics, noting that the company’s PT-6 engine maintenance team is already expanding there to service the multitude of agricultural aircraft based there. Lieser also mentioned the 6-month pheasant hunting season as a strong market for charter services. All current employees will be retained, and additional staff brought on as needed, such as pilots, flight instructors, and maintenance technicians. Revv Aviation offers a full range of services and is building a network of FBOs that connect small- to mid-sized cities throughout the Midwest, bringing their passion for general aviation to bear in promoting and attracting more people into the industry.
