SHELTAIR BREAKS GROUND AT TAMPA INTERNATIONAL

To mark the start of a $26 million investment to serve the Tampa Bay area, Sheltair in October broke ground on its new 100,000-square-foot hangar and office project at Tampa International Airport (TPA). The region is seeing rapid growth in aviation and aircraft operations, and the Sheltair expansion is intended to meet those needs.

The new facility will consist of four state-of-the-art hangars ranging from 14,562 to 33,269 square feet, each with 28.6′ high doors to accommodate the largest cabin-class aircraft such as the Global 7500 and Gulfstream G650. The development will offer build-to-suit office spaces from 5,700 to 14,247 square feet. Build-to-suit office spaces in each hangar will range from 5,700 to 14,247 square feet. Tenants will also appreciate the use of the award-winning FBO’s 29-foot canopy welcoming arrivals, as well as executive board rooms, access to 24-hour U.S. Customs, and its convenient location next to the International Plaza mall. From there, visitors have easy access to major highways just minutes from downtown Tampa and Raymond James Stadium.

Pre-leasing for Sheltair’s new facility is now available, and interested parties should contact Francisco Alonzo, vice president of real estate and development, at [email protected] or 407-230-2631.
