Volato Acquires Gulf Coast Aviation
TX- Volato has acquired Gulf Coast Aviation as the company drives efforts to serve a larger share of the North American business aviation market. According to Volato, owners in Volato’s fractional program along with the company’s charter customers will now have access to an increased charter fleet size. Gulf Coast Aviation is currently based at William P. Hobby International Airport (HOU).
Gulf Coast Aviation holds an Argus Platinum rating and has achieved IS-BAO Stage 3. The company manages jets ranging from King Air turboprops to ultra-long-range large-cabin jets. Volato intends to retain all employees from Gulf Coast Aviation and is focused on implementing operational bases across the country to help support their HondaJet fractional owners by eliminating repositioning fees. Volato typically serves four or fewer passenger missions with a fleet of HondaJet Elite S aircraft with six bases in Houston, Atlanta, Baltimore, St. Augustine, Ft. Lauderdale, and Carlsbad.
